A.2009-23 Tool: paper; photo-emulsion Description: Edison E. Moutonand Rexford Levisee were used by the US Blog postOffice Department as airmail pilots. They are presented in front of an airmail solution biplane at Reno, Nevada. Mouton worked as an airmail pilot from September 8, 1920 till Could 22, 1927. Levisee served as an airmail pilot from November 9, 1920 to January 14, 1921, and also from February 24, 1921 till June 30, 1927. Both pilots were assigned to San Francisco, The golden state, Salt Lake City, Utah, and Reno, Nevada throughout their professions. On September 11, 1920, Mouton flew the last leg of the country’s very first cross-country airmail trip, landing at Marina Field, The golden state after flying the 250 miles from Reno to San Francisco in one hour as well as fifty-eight minutes, a new flight document for that distance. Levisee concerned the Airmail Solution from the Army Signal Corps.
